Privacy policy
Effective September 28, 2026. Local Outbound Desk is a private application operated by ForTheWeb for its authorized Jeffco Coupons and RankBail email workflows.
Google data accessed and used
With the account owner’s consent, the application reads Gmail messages, headers, labels and account identity information and sends email. It checks message history to identify prior sends, replies, delivery failures, opt-outs and active conversations; these checks support suppression, follow-up threading and duplicate prevention. It does not request permission to delete or change mailbox messages.
Storage and sharing
OAuth credentials are stored in the owner’s macOS Keychain. Relevant campaign records, recipient details, message evidence and audit records are stored in a local SQLite database and owner-controlled local backups. The database and backups are not application-encrypted. Unrelated mailbox messages may be read while checking history but are not intentionally retained as campaign records. The application communicates with Google’s APIs to perform these functions.
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, shared with data brokers or sent to an AI model for training or inference by this application. The application has no hosted mailbox database or public customer login.
Retention and owner controls
Local records remain until the owner removes them. Suppression and send-history records are retained to honor opt-outs and prevent duplicate outreach. The account owner can revoke the application’s access in their Google Account connections, remove its Keychain credentials, and delete local records and backups. Revocation stops future authorized access; it does not itself delete local files or messages already sent.
Limited use
Local Outbound Desk’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
